Funny moment pregame as Kevin Garnett went to clap his powder on the Celtics radio team. Cedric Maxwell was prepared, putting on a surgical scrubs and a mask to protect his surely expensive suit from harm.
It didn’t take long for the injured Celtics to make their mark. Pierce scored the Celtics first points of the game on a 3-pointer…. assisted by Kendrick Perkins who ripped down a big offensive rebound. Pierce returned the favor at the 9 minute mark, assisting Perkins on a nice turnaround J.
