Shame on the Red Sox

For the last month 24 year old Clay Buchholz became nothing more than a sacrificial lamb, and the Red Sox could pay long term penalties for that.
In Buchholz’s 3 starts in the month of August, he has an ERA of about 10.00 raising his season’s ERA to 6.75, which would be ranked 93rd, or last in the entire Major Leagues if he had pitched enough innings to qualify.
In Buchholz’s 15 starts this year, just 3 have been good ones, this from the then barely 23 year old who last year showed great promise when pitched a no-hitter, but who may have been set back a year or 2 because of the Red Sox impatience. Shame on them.
