Playing with fire?

The Red Sox appear to be tempting fate too many times here in game 2.
and manaer Terry Francona’s most recent move might be the most regrettable.

Give Daisuke credit for getting out of jam after jam, the final one in the 5th inning by throwing an incredible 36 pitches which ended his night at 108 pitches and a 5-3 lead.

But here in the 7th, Francona sends Okajima back to the mound after he pitched the 6th- WHY? Okajima gives up hits to the 1st 2 batters and then Francona takes him out-maybe 2 batters too late. Masterson comes in and walks 2 of the 1st 4 batters he faces to force a run home and make it a 5-4 game. The Red Sox can’t bring Papelbon in soon enough. Stay tuned
